Welcome to Amy Jo Online.  This is my personal website where I will keep you up to date on what I am up to.  My newest business adventures, the news on my personal life (not too many details) and anything else that I feel like sharing.  Please be patient as I add things to my site.  This site is always going to be changing, so come back often.

  • I am starting a new adventure.  I am hosting my very own Talk Radio show, on Blog Talk Radio.  My show is about being a parent of a special needs child.  There are many struggles in the day to day life of any parent and when you add a child that requires more care and more attention to the mix, it can get stressful.  Adding that stress is sure to add to the pleasures of life also.  You begin to look at things differently.  You take less for granted.  You enjoy life more.  You celebrate longer and harder.  You realize that "Life is a Gift ~ Not a promise for tomorrow".  I feel truly lucky to have been blessed with a child that has truly changed my life in ways that I can never fully explain.  But I will try....   • I am going to be a guest on MomRN with Tamara Walker in August.  She has a great show about all kinds of parenting issues. I will be on her show Monday, August 25th at 12 noon - Eastern Time.
  • I have started a few diffferent web sites.  I have started a weight loss web site (I am losing weight with the LEARN program that starts Sept. 10, 2008. That blog is Amys Losin It.   I also have a personal blog where I talk about my life and get very personal -  My Mommy Needs A Life.  I am also starting a Personalized Letter business.  Need A Santa Letter??  Want to send a special letter to a special someone on Valentine's Day??  Come and check us out.  Sending Something Special
  • I have invented "The NaScarf" - a trach cover for any age (specializing in children/baby sizes).   My oldest son has a trach and is the inspiration for this invention.  He needed something to cover his trach in the winter so he could breathe outside.  We used baby blankets for a while but he decided that he was too old for them so necessity lead to invention.  We will also be offering them for sale to others that need them.  We will be placing them on this site for sale very soon.
